What to do? The weather's so horrid... fighting in my head between cafe drawing, gallery visiting or staying in and playing on the Cintiq. Not a super epic battle, and the Cintiq is currently winning! Also last night I watched two documentaries on BBC4 - one about Tove Jansson, which was predictably inspiring, and then one about Roy Orbison. So he's today's soundtrack.

The Tove Jansson documentary was so interesting! She was my heroine. She wrote me a wonderful letter months before she left this world. I probably draw because of her.
Wow, how lovely to have had a letter from her! What a treasure to keep. Such wonderful work, and so much work too!
